The Roy Meyer Swingers, a non-profit organization, is a modern vocal group which performs in the style of the Modernaires from the Glenn Miller era, as well as today’s Manhattan Transfer.

  Mr. Meyer founded the 20-voice mixed group in 1967 as a non-profit organization incorporated in Oakland for the purpose of providing scholarship funds to musically talented high school students and to further the appreciation of modern vocal group singing throughout the NY metro area.

  Singers interested in becoming members should have a voice that blends, choral experience and sight reading ability.
