Oakland Blood Donors Association
The Oakland Blood Donor's Association was formed in 1959. Blood drawings are held once a year in April at the Ponds Reformed Church. We are affiliated with Bergen Community Regional Blood Center in Paramus. Residents wishing to donate blood at anytime during the year may do so at the Paramus Center on Linwood Avenue and credit it to Oakland by calling 444-3900 for an appointment. The Blood Bank is a non-profit organization witch receives its income from contributions for operating expenses.
