The 2001 Project
Part of the Environmental Commission's
commitment to Oakland is to identify a special yearly project. The project is intended to enhance Oakland's environmental appearance and/or preserve our natural resources.
The 2001 project will be to apply a grant which was received to restore a walking path along part of the Ramapo River. The Commission will apply the grant to remove debris and create a path where an individual can find solitude or a family can enjoy a stroll by the Ramapo.
