The Oakland Newcomers & Neighbors Club

A social organization founded to help the women of Oakland meet people and make new friends. Membership is open to all women residents of Oakland.

Our club year begins in September with our annual Wine & Cheese Open House. We hold our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month from October to June, either at the Senior Center on Lawlor Drive or out at a nearby location. The club also holds occasional ladies nights out, monthly couples socials and many children's events and playdates. In addition, we sponsor several town events, such as Breakfast with Santa and Family Day at Crystal Lake.
