Oakland Recreation Summer Camp is proud to present one of the premier trip line-up at very affordable rates.  Here you can find detailed information of the Open Camp Trips, Bus Schedule for the Trips, and web sites of where the trips take place.

Every Monday is swim club at Darlington County Park in Mahwah, Tuesdays is bowling at Holiday Bowl of Oakland, NJ.  Every Thursday the campers view a movie at a local theater in Hawthorne, NJ.

Camel Beach

Splash into group fun at the largest water park in Pennsylvania.  We want your visit to Camel Beach Mountain Waterpark to be a fun-filled experience. WATER THRILL RIDES; WHERE SCREAMING IS ENCOURAGED!  Our thrill rides range from tube slides, body slides, and river adventures to challenging races and surfing! Whether you’re enjoying whipping turns and screaming thrills or showing off your talent and skills at our FlowRider, a day at Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark is guaranteed family fun. Enjoy the summer thrills of our tube slides, body slides, mat slides, and water thrill rides all season long!

Dave & Busters

Hands down, Dave & Buster’s is the ultimate field trip. It’s also a great place for award ceremonies, club get-togethers, graduation parties, after-prom parties – you get the picture. With great food and games all in one place, it’s a safe environment, and a perfect reward for a job well done.

Six Flags 

With so many choices, where do you begin? Right here. Take a look at every ride in the park-from pulse-pounding roller coasters to gentler options for tots. 

Six Flags Great Adventure is known for our award-winning roller coasters. Theme Parks Magazine recently voted El Toro as the #2 top wooden coaster, featuring the steepest drop of any wooden roller coaster in the country at a record-breaking 76 degrees. Nitro was named the #7 top steel coaster — blasting you an unbelievable 230 feet in the air with a 215-foot dive back down to earth at speeds approaching 80 mph.

The Castle Fun Center

There are so many fun things to do at The Castle Fun Center amusement park.The Castle Fun Center’s activities include Ballocity, Roller Skating, Laser Maze, Free Fall, Rock Climbing, Laser Tag, Arcade, Seasonal Go Karts, Mini Golf & Batting Cages! Other activities include The Castle Golf Driving Range.

HIGH EXPOSURE

High Exposure is the premium facility in New Jersey for a unique experience of heart stopping climbing, adrenaline pumping ninja moves and extreme parkour tricks! We offer fun for families and kids of all ages! Our facility caters to our community's needs; building strength and courage, while developing friendships that last a life time.

Medieval Times                  

Medieval Times is an exciting, family-friendly dinner attraction inspired by an 11th century feast and tournament. Guests are served a four-course banquet and cheer for one of six Knights competing in the joust and other tests of skill.                                                                       

Bus Schedule

Just a reminder that these are the times the bus is leaving and planned to arrive.  We do not predict traffic patterns as there arrival time may be before or after the listed time above.  A normal Open Camp Day is from 9:00AM-3:00PM.  It is advised to show up 15-20 minutes prior to a bus departure.
