Mayor's Message - April 2020

I write a message every month to inform our residents about the events and programs scheduled in our town.  However, at this time, for the safety of everyone, we have cancelled events and programs until further notice.  

Our municipal buildings are closed to the public but our municipal employees and all elected officials are working behind the closed doors.  The telephones are connecting to personnel who can answer your questions.  We have drop boxes in the lobby of the municipal building.  

We are keeping you informed with daily messages via email, facebook and twitter.  Our Borough website has information about each department, boards and commissions, and businesses.  www.oakland-nj.org.

I record a reverse 911 with updates involving our town.  If you are not receiving the calls, go to the website, click on "swiftreach" and follow the instructions.
