Mayor's Message -- December 2019

With the holiday season upon us we have so many exciting activities planned in our town.

Our annual Christmas tree and Chanukah Menorah lighting event shall take place on Sunday evening, December 8th at 5:00 pm in Veteran's Park. 

This is always a special ceremony culminating with a visit from Santa arriving on the Oakland fire truck.  Afterward, we are all invited to go into Valley Middle School for entertainment, food and a visit with Santa.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

But now is the time to get into the holiday spirit.  We're announcing the second year for our town-wide Home Holiday Decorating Contest sponsored by Public Events Committee.  A special thank you to Chopper Russo and Mike Rose for creating and formulating the contest rules.    

I wish everyone a very happy and a very healthy Happy Holiday and New Year.
