Volunteers and screensThe Cable TV channel, known as Oakland TV, provides public, educational, and local government programming for and about Oakland, NJ. Programming includes televised council meetings and borough proceedings, local events, local sports games, and a televised bulletin board (run by the Bulletin Board Committee). The Oakland Communications Commission (OCC) has also produced several well liked programs over the last

decades including a live show called Exit 58 LIVE!, a Communicator Award of Distinction winner This Week in Oakland, and magazine television program called The Oaklander. If you are not seeing what you would like on our channel, then maybe its time for you to step up and fill in that void by producing and submitting your own program!

Borough Council meetings are aired weekdays at 1am, 12pm, and 7pm and on weekends at 1am and 7pm. Council meetings are aired live when the Borough Council has their meetings in Council Chambers.

Ramapo-Indian Hills Board of Education meetings also air LIVE on Oakland TV when they happen, in addition to replaying weekdays at 4am and on weekends at noon.
