Borough of Oakland Hosting Arbor Day Celebration

Oakland, N.J. - March 27, 2023 - The Borough of Oakland has announced an Arbor Day Celebration on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Borough of Oakland Senior Center, 20 Lawlor Drive, Oakland, N.J. 07436.
Find out how to join our growing team to help us complete the Borough Tree Inventory project. This inventory helps us make smart decisions and manage our tree canopy better. By understanding what we have first, enables us to prioritize plantings.
After the program, free saplings will be made available for all residents. There will be a secondary pickup on Sunday April 30, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Oakland Public Library, 2 Municipal Plaza, Oakland, N.J. 07436.
