Governor Murphy Signs Executive Order Extending Public Health Emergency in New Jersey:

Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order No. 200. The Order extends the Public Health Emergency that was declared on March 9, 2020 through Executive Order No. 103, which was previously extended on April 7, May 6, June 4, July 2, August 1, August 27, September 25, and October 24. Under the Emergency Health Powers Act, a declared public health emergency expires after 30 days unless renewed.

Executive Order No. 200 extends all Executive Orders issued under the Governor’s authority under the Emergency Health Powers Act. It also extends all actions taken by any Executive Branch departments and agencies in response to the Public Health Emergency presented by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Coronavirus Positive Tests in Oakland:

The Borough of Oakland has been notified by the Bergen County Department of Health that there are 7 new positive cases of COVID-19 reported in Oakland, bringing our total to 341 positive reported cases. There are 25 new positive cases in Franklin Lakes bringing their to-date total to 329 cases, and 4 new positive cases in Wyckoff bringing their to-date total to 547 cases. Bergen County reported 1,022 new positive cases since Tuesday, bringing the County of Bergen total to 31,687. Today the Borough of Oakland was notified by the Bergen County Department of Health that there was 3,592 new positive COVID-19 cases reported today, bringing the state-wide New Jersey total to 309,588 cases.
