Road Work: Skyline Drive on June 18, 2021

Please be advised that Bergen County Operations will be overseeing a road improvement project to install “Friction Grip” on Skyline Drived which will have a significant impact on traffic during the process starting this Friday, June 18, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., and running until Saturday June 19th, at 12:00 p.m. This project will require a total close of Skyline Drive for all vehicular traffic.Skyline Dr will be shut on the Oakland side at the I-287 Entry/Exit ramps, and at Conklintown Rd on the Ringwood side.  No traffic will be able to traverse through the work zone to allow for proper curing of the applied materials to the road surface.  Officers will be on scene to enforce this requirement.  Expect possible delays due to the work zone in the surrounding neighborhoods and plan alternate routes of travel. This project is extremely important for future vehicular safety and should be a great benefit to all of those who travel along Skyline Drive. Scheduled dates/times is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen events.
