Sustainable Oakland Green Team Launches 'Bag Up Oakland' Art Contest

Oakland, N.J. - March 28, 2022 - The Sustainable Oakland Green Team in partnership with Arts In Oakland is launching a Student Art Contest for Oakland Students K-12. The contest is to bring awareness about the upcoming plastic bag ban that takes effect May 4, 2022 by creative a graphic that shows Oakland’s support of New Jersey’s Plastic Bag Ban.

The winner’s artwork will be used on promotional materials the Sustainable Oakland Green Team and volunteers will give out around town this spring and at this year’s Carnival.
