Utility Work Update from Orange and Rockland Utilities

In an effort to provide reliable electric service, Orange & Rockland is continuously looking for the most efficient ways to keep your lights on.

Starting Monday, June 29, you may see inspectors from Alamon, Inc., a company contracted by Orange & Rockland, performing inspections on the wood poles that carry electric wires to your home. The process requires digging around the base of the pole to inspect for insect infestation and decay. If either of these conditions are found and the condition is not too far advanced, Alamon will treat the pole. If it is beyond treating, O&R will be notified, and they will replace the pole.
