Mayor's Message -- July 2019

Oakland council meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesday each month starting at 7:30 pm.  If you cannot attend, you can watch the meeting live on television.    

At our next council meeting, Wednesday evening, July 10th, the council will be discussing the issue of school elections.  Your input is very important.   Should the school elections remain in April, separate and apart from the general election?  Should the school election be held at the same time as the general election in November?

Please try to attend and voice your opinion.  If you cannot attend the meeting, please email or call members of the council to express your opinion.  We would love to hear from you.
