The Oakland Borough Newsletter, is published through a collaboration between the Oakland Communications Commission's Newsletter Committee and the Borough of Oakland.

The Borough Newsletter started out as a print newsletter that was sent to resident mailboxes across the Borough. In 2018, the Commission opted to send the newsletter digitally via email, with additional and longer length content made available on the Communication Commission's webpage here on the Borough website. The newsletter highlights events and news items going on in municipal government, the various boards, committees, and commissions, as well as in the Oakland community. The Newsletter Committee is solely responsible for all work involving the Feature Stories, the design and format of the newsletter, and making sure to include submitted and approved events and notices from Oakland non-profits within the newsletter. The committee works with Borough officials to include other information into the monthly newsletter and to help assemble and plan the newsletter each time.

For those wishing to read the older newsletters, you can download individual issues of the Oakland Newsletter, as well as editions of the old newsletter, CrossRoads, here. Some files are quite large, so it may take some time if you have a slower internet connection.
