Oakland Police Department would like to remind residents on vehicle safety

The Oakland Police Department would like to remind everyone to drive safely as school re-opens this month. Also, this is a good time to ask all drivers and parents to check the child restraint system currently in use in their vehicles. The straps and mechanisms to secure the child seat to the vehicle can sometimes become loose over time.
