Current rain estimates for today’s storm still range from 2-4 inches and the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch and Wind Advisory for our area with wind gusts up to 47 MPH possible. Residents are urged to prepare for another possible flood event in our flood-prone areas. Conditions are ripe for flooding due to saturated ground, high water tables, and snow melt. The high winds could result in downed trees and a loss of power.

The Mayor and Council meeting scheduled for tonight is canceled and  rescheduled till Friday January 12, 2024, 5 PM in the Mayor and Council Chambers 10 Lawlor Drive.
