20 New Trees

In a cooperative effort coordinated between the Recreation Commission, Shade Tree Commission and DPW – 20 new trees have been planted at the Recreation Complex. These include trees along the walking path, on the border of the field & the Tanglewood homes, at the Joey Gaul & Michael Altana (D'Elia Building) benches and a wall of trees behind the field 5 outfield fence. As these trees mature the Alexander Potash Complex will become even more park like. This makes a net gain of 49 trees on the complex over the past 5 years…….and all these trees cost the borough zero tax dollars!
