Bergen Bites Back: Target Mosquito Breeding Sites In and Around Your Home

Bergen County Department of Health encourages residents to target mosquito breeding sites in and around your home.

Ways to prevent mosquito breeding sites by doing the following at least once a week:

1. Empty, clean, and turn over and/or dispose of containers that can hold water, such as tires, buckets, and flower pots, inside and outside of your home. 

2. Clean drains and gutters of leaves and debris. 

3. Keep swimming pools/ponds adequately treated with recommended products to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.
