This comprehensive document lists and describes important naturally occurring resources within Oakland. The Natural Resource Inventory (NRI) provides details of our community’s natural resources and will help with land conservation and planning.
The Oakland Natural Resource Inventory was adopted by the Oakland Planning Board on September 10, 2014 as part of the Borough Master Plan. The NRI was prepared with the assistance of a Smart Growth Planning Grant from the Association of NJ Environmental Commissions. A hard copy is kept at the Oakland Library and the Municipal Building.
