Oakland Materials LLC – Comments Being Accepted Until 10/28/23

Oakland Materials LLC is seeking to operate a ‘Class B’ recycling facility at 342 West Oakland Ave.   One requirement is that the site be included in the Bergen County Solid Waste Management Plan and the Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) held a public hearing on September 28, 2023.  A recording of the hearing can be viewed on Optimum Channel 77 or Fios Channel 2145 as well as the Borough’s YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YSNQJKtnV4.

The BCUA will accept written comments until October 28, 2023.  Comments may be mailed to the BCUA or residents may submit comments via e-mail to deputyclerk@oakland-nj.org and the Borough will transmit them on our resident’s behalf.
