Traffic Advisory from Oakland Police Department

Please be advised that Orange & Rockland has scheduled “Storm Hardening” work which will consist of utility pole removal/replacement, power line replacement, and minor vegetation removal.  This work is intended to fortify their infrastructure in hopes that there will be less storm related damage and customer power outages when significant weather related events occur.  This project will be on Long Hill Road between Laura Lane and Breakneck Road, and will run from March 3rd thru March 31st with work being done between the hours of 9am to 3pm. Officers will be on scene to assist and direct traffic. Please consider using an alternate route during this time. Thank you.
