Bulletin Board Committee
The Bulletin Board Committee's responsibility is to take the announcement submissions it receives, screen them for accuracy and appropriateness, edit what was submitted for space, and post them onto the Oakland Television Bulletin Board. These are the announcements or "slides" seen on the Borough's Cable Television channel, Oakland TV. If you would like to submit content to be shown on the Bulletin Board, please click here.
The Bulletin Board Committee is accepting music submissions from local musicians in the area (Oakland & town bordering Oakland) to be featured on our Local Access Television Channel Optimum 77 and FiOS 2145. Click here for the full application and guidelines. You may submit the form to the Communications Commission at occ@oakland-nj.org.
Alternatively, if you have a birthday, anniversary, or special family event (i.e. Sweet 16, bar mitzvah, communion, etc.) coming up, Oakland TV would like to give you or your special someone the public recognition they deserve! Fill out this form to notify our Bulletin Board Committee about your request and efforts will be made to create a slide to be put on Oakland TV.
