Oakland Senior Citizens' Club

Mission

The object of the Oakland Senior Citizens' Club is to promote the social life, recreation, and good-fellowship among the senior citizens of our community.

Club Meetings

Regular Club meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 11:00 am.

  • Members take pleasure in having coffee and tea available from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
  • Members enjoy the social hour starting at 12:00 pm during which cake is served. At times, ice cream or pizza is served in place of cake.
  • Guest speakers and entertainers (who are scheduled as available) address educational issues and provide fun events, which are of interest to seniors.
  • A short business meeting follows with committee reports and remarks from the general membership which apply to the club and welfare of the members.

Join the Senior Club at any meeting. Membership is open to all Oakland Residents age 55 or over. There is a yearly membership fee of $20.00 per person.
