Registration will begin March 1, 2026 and close March 30, 2026 - NO EXCEPTIONS for OPEN CAMP.

Rec Day Camp - Will be open for registration until May 1, 2026

Day Camper Checklist
Bathing suit & sneakers worn daily, backpack, sunscreen, towel, hat,
water/shoes and flip flops (optional for water activities), money for snacks/icecream
Please make sure everything is labeled with your child's initials and group

Kindergarten- Little playground
1st Grade- At tent next to roller hockey rink
2nd-5th Grade- Fence line across from large parking lot

Camp Go Sign In/Out
Large tent behind the Danny D building

The Oakland Recreation Summer Camp is run seasonally for the children of the Borough of Oakland. We have a proud tradition of having the best staff and weekly events to make each summer unforgettable and the future summers something that everyone looks forward to. As school is out for the summer, we begin our exciting programs for grades K-5 and grades 6-9.

Our K-5 campers attend the Oakland Recreation Summer Day Camp with programs and events that are conducted at the recreation complex.

Our 6-9 grade campers attend the Oakland Recreation Summer Camp Go. These campers travel to major theme parks, water parks, movies, etc. throughout New Jersey, New York , and Pennsylvania.
