Jill Schwertfeger Memorial Dog Park Now Open!

at Great Oak Park

In case you missed it, the long-awaited  dog park has finally opened at the Great Oak Park in Oakland! Over 80 people have already registered their dogs and we want to make sure you know about it so your dogs aren’t missing out of the fun. Going to the dog park is a great way to meet your neighbors, make some new friends, and leave the dog park with a happy, exercised, and tired dog. Oakland residents pay $10 per dog, per year and out-of-town dog owners can also sign up to access the park at a cost of $20 per dog, per year. All users must register their dog through CommunityPass or a paper form available at the Recreation Office and all dogs must be registered in the municipality in which the user lives.
